The Waiting Room

This is a bit of a gruesome one - skip if you're easily disgusted.

God trials the innocent men in his waiting room, at the border of life and death, on the line between land and sea. He sends a barrage of gunfire, rain of blood and flesh from your own comrades, and the fear that the last letter you sent home will also be known by your wife as your last words. This weight, on the shoulders of young boys, will eventually drag their crumpled bodies into the sea. The foam will soon coat their bloodshod faces; grains of sand will settle into the creases of their uniform as the waves clutch their lifeless bodies and carefully draw them further beneath the water.

The King kills the innocent men of his country, searching for the firstborn prophecised to surpass him, yet his sins only bring plagues - his efforts are fruitless. His crown is split to flying shrapnel, tearing men's flesh to pieces no larger than stones. A waste of resources, they are considered, so they are left as litter on land. At the border of life and those who have passed, the dead men stand. Each moment, they pray for the day their legs will fail them and they fall to the sand.

I have officially decided to post anything and everything I consider vaguely acceptable in terms of quality. This was some English work from a couple of days ago, based on a scene from Saving Private Ryan (disclaimer - I have never watched the film, only this clip). Interpret it as you wish :)
